Oh just up-close and personal with the Florida Everglades wildlife. No biggy!
I have been editing images from my latest road trip this past December/January. In the next several posts I’ll be sharing some of my favorites from the trip. This one here was taken off the coast of sunny Florida, just South of Tampa. It was a warm 80 degree day and I was wearing shorts and flip flops, oh how I long for the warm days of summer.
Last year I was hired to rediscover Chicago – I’ve lived in Chicago now for many many years and it’s not that often that I get out and shoot the city in which I live. It was nice to reconnect. Above is a small portion of the feature article in United Hemispheres June 2011 issue.
This shot was taken after departing Anacortes, WA with Victoria, Canada as the final destination – riding through the San Juan Islands. I’m rather fond of traveling by boat even though I sometimes suffer from sea sickness. Not on this day – thank goodness!
If you subscribe to Organic Gardening Magazine – turn to page 45 – “A Tale of Two Food Deserts” in this months issue. This article is the final result from my Fresh Moves shoot late last year. Please note this story included two photographers – myself and Kalen Severe. Enjoy!
