Around the Farm
It may not look like it from these pictures, but spent two lovely days photographing Hellebores at Pine Knot Farms. Had to deal with a little fog because of the hard rain the night before but by mid-day the sun burned it all off and I got to shoot in 80 degree sunny weather. Great weather, generous subjects and very educational. Learn what the farm is up to at www.pineknotfarms.com

Working out in the Chicago suburbs on our other cover shoot this past week. Brushed the dust of off the AcuteB 600 pack and with the nice weather it was a pretty good experience except for the 30 mile per hours winds!

This last week turned out to be a week of cover shoots, well actually two cover shoots but in the big picture that’s a lot of covers for one week in fact it’s a lot for a month. Both turned out really well and we had a good time doing the projects. These are a few behind-the-scenes shots from the first shoot early in the week. I’ll post a few from the second shoot real soon.

The Studio
It’s a new year, therefore new staff. This is a shot of the studio for taking more of Centro’s senior executive team. It remains the same; incredibly friendly staff, lots of fun!

The Cloud Gate Carolers

Photographing the crowd - the blur
Had a last minute project to shoot the Carolers under Cloud Gate.
It was a fun project and nice way to wrap up the 2011 shooting season.
Packing as I write for a road trip to do some stock shooting and to avoid a month of the Chicago winter season. Look forward to seeing posts from the road.
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

The Bus

The interior
Spent the day with the coolest Fresh Moves team! It’s tight in the bus – thanks for being so accommodating for the shots. Learn more about them and their cause at www.freshmoves.org.
