Fishing boats docked in harbor, Oslo, Norway
Two and a half weeks spent in the Baltic shooting a story for Virtuoso Life Magazine. Wow it’s amazing how many countries you can fit into two weeks, Russia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, United Kingdom. The story runs in early 2009.

Mount Hood, Oregon, USA
Spent a week or so out in Oregon. Started off driving down the coast from Portland then inland to Crater Lake National Park. Going back north managed stops at Mount Hood and a wonderful drive through the Columbia River Gorge area. A trip I’ll never forget!

Cattle farmer on his wind farm, Kansas, USA
A week spent out in Kansas photographing a story on wind verse coal power for BusinessWeek Magazine. Nothing like driving across a state that looks the same on both sides, makes for a pretty long drive!

Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado, USA
Took a few weeks to explore Colorado. Stops at Rocky Mountain National Park, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Mesa Verde and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. All amazing places!

David Pierce with grandchildren
Shot a story for Forbes in Detroit on David Pierce. He has had a mechanical heart pump longer than anyone else in the world. He leads a rather active life and in fact danced with his four grandchildren while I took pictures.

Phoenix and Cleveland
A few days in Cleveland and then off to Phoenix to complete a story on personal finance for Money Magazine. Managed an extra day or so in Arizona and did some hiking up in Sedona, Red Rock State Park to be exact. So all and all a great trip.
