Russell Military Museum

Russell Military Museum, Russell, Illinois, USA

I’ve wanted for the last 15 years to one day stop and look at the Russell Military Museum. It’s on the Illinois and Wisconsin state lines off of highway 94. So after driving by a good hundred times today was finally the day. It’s hard not to enjoy the odd and interesting designs if nothing else of the vehicles and aircraft. It’s a bit more of a grave yard then museum since the bulk of things are missing half their parts. None the less, even for a pacifist who would unlikely not last very long in the Salvation Army, like myself has to be amazed at the history and bravery of all this.

CFO James Bell

CFO James Bell

After almost missing the shoot because of lovely Chicago morning traffic we found our way to the Boeing World headquarters for a 15 minute shoot with their CFO James Bell. Nothing like three minutes to set up for an important shoot, I don’t think I in any way gained the trust of their PR person who must have been thinking this might be his first job after college. All is well that ends well in my book, we got some nice images and everyone went away happy. Mr. Bell was the nicest CFO I’ve met in a long time and who couldn’t love a building full of airplane art, really expensive airplane art!
