Catholic Church, Fort Belknap Indian Reservation, Montana, USA
Came upon this old Catholic Church along Route 2 in the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation which belongs to the Gros Ventre and the Assiniboine Tribes. Couldn’t help but try to photograph it, for a quick and unplanned stop these are some of my favorite images from the whole trip.

Montana state line, Beartooth Pass, Montana, USA
Over the Beartooth Pass, into Montana and sadly in search of a Toyota dealer to change the oil. The miles are starting to add up by the flashing “change oil light” on the dashboard. A few quick shots of the welcome sign and it’s down the mountains and into the Montana great plains, another 1000 miles and it’s back to Chicago.

Glacier National Park, Montana, USA
Since the weather is nice now here what makes more sense than to go freeze in the Canadian Rockies, and that’s pretty much what I did for two weeks. I’ve had better trips and I’ve had a couple worse. I made it to Glacier, Banff and Jasper National Parks and also spent a few days driving the Ice Fields Parkway. I guess being unshaven with a car full of photo gear sets off some alarm at the Canadian border these days since I managed to spend two mildly unpleasant hours having my truck torn thru, computer searched and filling out lots of mindless paper work. They finally let me thru after seeing how boring my life really is.
